Another PC is using KNIME with a specific knime-workspace and block any access to it, where can I find which machine is it?

Hi everyone,
in our working environment many PCs have their own KNIME installed.
As I tried today to work with KNIME in a specific workspace lying on a windows server, the startup is blocked by another user. Is there any way (in a log or in any file) to retrieve the IP of KNIME running machine on the said workspace (or in its relative .metadata)?

you need to delete the .lock file which you can .metadata folder.

KNIME AP is not build for sharing a workspace between two users. So there is no way to find out who is locking the workspace. Maybe there is a file history than you can check who created the .lock file.

maybe you can look at the filesystem who is the owner off the lock-File to identify the user who has opened the workflow.
