I've been fidling with preferences in Knime, and now evreythime I try to configure a node somewhere in the chain every previous node in the chain auto runs. I can't figure out how to change it back, and it is super frustrating, since some of my workflows take hours to run.
Odd, never encountered this. The only help I can give you is to re-install KNIME from scratch and carry on with default settings... The KNIME team might have more involved hints to offer, though.

I can propose some basic trouble shooting: try using a new workspace.

It happens with every project, no matter if its new or old. I am 100% sure it can be switched in the settings, but I can't figure out where.
