One workflow i have build about one year back in 3.5 contains some R nodes.
I have migrated to 3.7.0 and from that point it’s not possible to have this workflow works from Windows line commands.
To execute my workflow, i have change the .bat command. it’s still
start C:"Program Files\knime_3.6.0"knime.exe -consoleLog -noexit -nosplash -application org.knime.product.KNIME_BATCH_APPLICATION -workflowDir=“C:\Users\whatever” -nosave
background Knime starts and stops with this bad
ERROR KNIME-Worker-5 Node Execute failed: R Home is invalid.
The same workflow works perfectly fine when i work within KNIME EDITOR.
Could you please give me some hint ?
It would be good to have a few more background information. Which versions of R and Rserve (1.8.6) are you using? Does this happen to all batch workflows or just this one. Also you could update you KNIME to version 3.7.1
Then I would help if you could build a minimal workflow using R (one you might be able to share) and try to run that in batch mode and see what the log file says. You might then share this workflow along with the log file here.
In the R script you could try to see which is your R’s home directory
R.home(component = "home")
Also you could try and print that at the beginning of the R script to see if it would execute that i batch mode and it might be a problem of a special package you are using.
