BIRT error: + The report file : default_report.rptdesign does not exist or contains errors.

I am posting here because it took me 2 hours to find this error and would like to spare others.

I wrote my workflow with an “umlaut” (ä, ö, ü). If this is so BIRT produces this error.
So: “Umlaute” are rather counterproductive in WF names.

Sorry for the trouble here. We actually do have a ticket open for this issue with BIRT, where it doesn’t seem to play nicely with diacritic (or other “non-standard”) ASCII characters. I’ve added a +1 from you on ticket AP-16896.
