Column Expressions Upgrade with Nashorn Engine Removed

Will the Column Expressions node get an upgrade given the Nashorn Engine is being removed?

I am running my workflows in batch mode and am seeing this warning come up often:

Warning: Nashorn engine is planned to be removed from a future JDK release

I believe the warning started with Java 11 and Nashorn will be removed in Java 15 [reference].

I rely heavily on the Column Expressions node. Is an upgrade path planned?

Thanks for the question. The developers are aware this is coming, and are looking at alternatives to the Nashorn Engine. The Column Expressions node is quite popular and we plan to continue supporting it, so no worries! :slight_smile:
