Confidential data?

I’m working with confidential data, and I can’t see in the privacy terms or the T&C whether KNIME can access the data I’m working with. Does anyone know whether that is the case? I would need a link to an official statement of some kind one way or the other - it would mean the world to me if one of you awesome people could help me out!

I do not fully understand what your question is but regarding data security concerns there was this statement by @berthold - one of the KNIME founders.

Actually, because KNIME is open source one can easily inspect the code and make sure no data is intercepted. You can never do that with proprietary software. We guarantee that the code that we maintain does not send around processed data - the only (usage!) data that we collect is (a) clearly communicated and (b) only used to provide node recommendations. You can easily disable that option and you can actually look at the code that does the sending back so everybody can validate our claims. Mi…
