Connect to Microsoft SQL Server

Hello my friends,

I’m trying connect to SQL Server, however I am not able to connect.

I saw the post KNIME Database Extension Guide but I couldn’t apply it.

Is there any step by step?

What problem can be it? "The TCP/IP connection to the host DESKTOP-N8RTV1E, port 1433 has failed. Error: “Socket operation on nonsocket: configureBlocking. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.”.

Hello Gugamderosa,
did you have a look at the MS SQL Server section of the database documentation?
The error message looks like the database is not running on the host: DESKTOP-N8RTV1E and the MS SQL default port: 1433. Can you check with your IT department for the right database connection settings.
