database writer node - Append Data default

Hi,

I think that the 'Append Data' box in the Database Writer node is very dangerous because if left unchecked an existing table is dropped before execution.

I have just tripped in it and a table has been inadvertently dropped !

Is it possible to have the default of the box changed ?

Hi Nik,

thanks for the remark. We plan to improve the Database Writer anyway and will inculde this change in the new version of the node.
