Date Consistency check

Hi,

I have a table with one date field (dd/mm/yyyy). I'd like to make sure that the date is consistent for each row. So I'd like to extract record with wrong dates, such as:

32/01/2014

28/13/2014

29/02/2014

Please, could you help me? Thank you in advance.

I would use the String to Date/Time node in the Time Series section. Format you need will be :

dd/MM/yyyy

I would assume that this will remove faulty dates automatically.

Simon.

Hm, if I remember correctly, Java tries to be smart in such cases and corrects wrong dates, i.e. the 32nd of January will silently be converted to the 1st of February. But I'm not 100% sure, just give it a try.

Simons solution was the first step :-)

However 32/01/2014 will be parsed to 1.Feb 2014. We here use the Java Dateformat parsing so the Javasnippet will produce the same result.

But you can convert it back to a string with the Time to String node, and than use the Rulebased Row Filter to filter the non matching ones.

Cheers, Iris

Thank you all. Iris solution works well.
