date Conversion

Hi,

I am unable to convert the string into date ;

For Example : my source field as 01JUN2011 desired out put field as 01-06-2011 , even i tried with conversions but i unable get my  desired out put , please any one can help me out.

Hi Pradeep,

you can type your own Date format into the field. The one for 01JUN2011 is ddMMMyyyy

After that it is fairly easy KNIME-ing with the exception of formatting the Date and Month cells in case they have single-digits.  Attached is an example workflow demostrating this process.
