I give it a try. But first I will have to spend some time on how the recursive loop behaves. Lucky I found a nice and readable blog about loops in KNIME. To be continued.

Thank you very much HansS for giving another solution. This workflow is looking at the days in calendar between the Received and Processed Date and hence definitely will be faster.
Finding the correct nodes to do the job I wanted was proving very time consuming.
Great support from both HansS and armingrudd.
