Date output column from database node not appearing in Date&Time to String column selector box

Hi

I’m using the Database Reader node to return a date type column, and I later need to change this to a string.

The date column does not appear in the column selector box. I’m using knime 3.4.2.

I’ve tried creating a date column using a table creator, and this shows up in the Date&Time to String node. So it seems it is something about the Date column from the Database Reader that’s not recognized. The column appears as a date type when I look at the result from the output port of the database reader.

Is this a bug? Any help much appreciated.

PS: the column appears in the legacy Time to String (legacy) node

KNIME has 2 date formats legacy and new. Database nodes still not updated. So, you stick with legacy.
