Disable KNIME locking of workflows in batch mode ?

Hello!

 

Is it possible to switch off the locking mode in Knime so it doesn't lock the workflows during command line batch executions ? What I would like is to be able to run two separate runs on one machine, using the same workflow directory, but different output directories for the analysis.

 

Otherwise I will just write a script to temporarily copy the workflow to some other destination and remove after execution, but thought there might be a nicer solution on Knime's side ?

Hi Piotr,

are you sure that KNIME actually does create a lock if you use it in batch mode? I'm not aware of any error messages along those lines (but already corrupted my workspace a couple of times by using a workspace with multiple interactive/non-interactive instances of KNIME simultaneously).
