How to set the permissions on server folder? Is there any guild line? Is it similar to Linux folder permissions?
For example, I wish a folder that everyone can create their own folders. But in default none can read or write data in others folder. (Just like the /home dir in Linux system). How to create such folder?

Attached is a copy of the explorer guide which has a nice section regarding permissions. In general, what you will do is create a home folder with broad permissions, and specific user folders that are only accessible by the users themselves (no group or "other" permissions).
