Doc2Vec needs any simple kind of progress check

Hi guys,

basically all these deep learning nodes urgently need progress reports, even if its only console output on debug level. I have a doc2vec training on 40 CPUs and 100GB of RAM and its running since 80 hours and I have no clue how much longer it will take.

Please, if there already is some (hidden?) way to track the progress let me know, maybe a log file written by the external library at a funny location?

Hi Alex,

sorry for the inconvenience.
DL4J has some log output which reports the progress of the Word2Vec stuff, however this gets lost somewhere in the KNIME logging process. We already have a Ticket for that. However, I currently can’t promise on a date when we’ll be able to look at it.
