Error to import a .XLS and export to .XLSX file

Hi all,

I am trying to read an .XLS file (downloaded from SAP). With “Excel Reader” it is not possible, so use “File Reader” and set the same. Until then, all good. But when exporting in .XLSX format, the result is a file with error in all cells. Appear “?” for each character.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
Clarification: While viewing the files within KNIME, they display fine

This looks as encoding issue. Try to pick suitable encoding in Encoding tab of File Reader
