Error When installing features

When trying to install nodes on 2.10 ( Linux x64) I recieve the following error, regardless of which nodes I choose to install. I am using the "Install New Software" option in the "Help" menu.

An error occurred while configuring the installed items

Strange. What items do you try to install? The error message tells something about org.knime.features.base (which is "KNIME Core"), but this is already present when you start KNIME, so I wonder why it should be installed a second time.
