Dear KNIME team,
when trying to update from our update site (
https://community.knime.org/download/ch.fmi.knime.plugins.update/) in a fresh installation of KNIME Analytics Platform 4.4.1, I get the following error:
Unable to connect to repository https://community.knime.org/download/ch.fmi.knime.plugins.update/content.xml
Connect to community.knime.org:443 [community.knime.org/220.127.116.11] failed: Connection refused: connect
How can I fix this? Updating from that update site works well from a different system running AP 4.3.3
Looks like something is wrong with the configuration. I will take a look at this tomorrow and let you know what I find.
I was able to install the extension in fresh 4.4.1 AP. Can you try if this problem occurs on the same computer with AP 4.3? And on the other one with 4.41?
It looks to me like it could be a connection issue.
Indeed, it was a connection issue, sorry for the buzz
On Windows, KNIME AP asks you to uninstall the previous version when installing the new one, and while re-configuring our proxy settings, I forgot to switch from Native to Manual in the Network Connections tab.
I was misled (i.e didn’t think of connection issues) by the fact that KNIME was able to access the other (official) update sites just fine…
