I am new to knime. I came to know knime has two component Ap and the hub.
I understand hub is the place where we deploy and execute our workflows.
What is the real use for AP ? Do we run out production workflows on AP ?

the KNIME Analytics Platform is where the magic happens. 
The AP is used to create, edit, manage your workflows which can be either run locally or on the Hub.
