Excel cell updater

Is there a way to update cells using the Excel Cell Updater node in a locked workbook? The specific cells I am trying to change are unlocked, but the sheet itself isn’t showing up in the update section.

I tried to reproduce the described behaviour, but I’m actually able to update cells in a sheet where some of the cells are locked.

In my Excel Sheet I used the following settings. Important is that by default all cells are unlocked. Did you unlock some of your cells manually?

Here you can find the workflow including the Excel Files which I used for testing. Does this workflow works for you?

@JPorter you could try and use Python and OpenPyxl to manipulate Excel files if there is no genuine KNIME function.
