Exporting Correlation Matrix View of Linear Correlation node

Dear all,

I like the visualization of the Correlation Matrix e.g. of the Linear Correlation node.
Unfortunately I cannot export the view e.g. as SVG or as formated excel file.
Is there a simple way to do so?

Kind regards

Kiro

Hi Kiro,

There is an export option which lets you have a PNG or SVG of the matrix:
Right click on the node and select “View: Correlation Matrix”. Then a view of the matrix is shown to you. By default it uses colors instead of numbers but you can change this in “view” tab and deselecting the “Use colors” option.
In the “file” tab, you can select “Export as” and then select the file type.

Is that what you want?

Best,
Armin

Hi @KiroVandenBerg -

One way you can generate an Excel representation of this data is to use the recently released Continental nodes for KNIME. Here’s an example workflow that should do what you’re looking for:

https://hub.knime.com/knime/workflows/Examples/99_Community/05_Continental_Nodes_for_KNIME/02_XLS_Formatter/02_Applications/01_Correlation_Matrix*xDG1EvQZNXttnPuE

(Note that you will have to enable the update site for community contributions to acquire these nodes, as described here: https://www.knime.com/community/continental-nodes-for-knime)

Hi,

first of all thank you both for your help!

@armingrudd thank you, yes that works, unfortunately one can not do this automatically right?

@ScottF thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for.

Kind regards
