Extract the number of week

Hi!

I tried to extract the week0 for all the order of my table.
I have extracted my week numbers in another software and it gives me for example week: 50, 51, 52, 1 (end of 2022). When I extract the week numbers in knime for the same period, I get 49, 50, 51 and 52.
I think that for the first sofware, we start the day the sunday but not in knime…

have you tried changing the localisation options?

Example below is between Italian and US options.

I need to start the week the sunday not the monday ( An ISO week start the monday)

try with localisation setting “en_US”.

Hello Elsa,

I tried with the Italian setting because I know it starts counting weeks on Mondays, so it should work for this second case. Other options should do the job too, but I don’t know them: try to make a small test just like I did.

Honestly, I find the localisation choice confusing, because you don’t know which day of the week is the first and how you decide which week is to be considered the first of the year. I will open a ticket so that, once your localisation choice has been made, you can get this type of information as a message.
