Fatal error in JRE, but KNIME works OK, on OpenSuSE 13.1

Hi,

I installed and am running KNIME 2.9.4 on OpenSuSE 13.1, I've not had a chance to really test it, but the application seems OK. 

I'm getting a warning log created though, in the form

  hs_err_pid[pid no].log.

I've attached one to this post (renamed .txt).  The contents start as;

  # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

Does anyone know what's causing it, and what I need to do to rectify it?

Hi Andy,

That seems to be a problem in Eclipse/KDE. Here is a bug report for "Kubuntu" (also KDE): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/java-common/+bug/1205452

There are workarounds. I think I would first try comment 7 and then 16.

KNIME 2.10 will come with newer SWT libraries (which are the culprit according to the error file).
