I am looking for a modified Workflow coach to keep some nodes in my personal favorite list , like show in the attached picture. Is it possible setup the standard version in this way?

Yes, it is possible to have this view.
“The Favorite Nodes view displays your favorite, most frequently used and last used nodes.” Please check out our KNIME Workbench Guide documentation how to enable and configure it.
