favoriteNodes.xml remains empty and therefore Last and most frequently used nodes

Hi together,

does anybody have the same problem?

After installation of knime 3.6.0 the file favoriteNodes.xml located
in /.metadata/.plugins/.org.knime.workbench.ui remains completely empty after several hours of work with the GUI.
I’m working on a Windows 10 machine - maybe it has to do with the file permissions ? The workspace directory, however could be created without problems.

Hi @RolandGrund,

When creating a new workspace, the .org.knime.workbench.ui folder remains empty until a user closes KNIME instance so that the workspace information gets saved. On closing a favoriteNodes.xml file is created if any node is added to Personal favourite nodes.

Please let me know if it’s not the case for you.
