Feature request: "Create meta node" by right-click

Dear KNIMErs,

Title says it all: "Create meta node" by right-click anywhere on the workflow canvas should bring up the creation wizard AND create the meta node where you clicked. Ribbon button is nice and well, but...

Hello Ergonomist,

I cannot speak for the KNIME-team, but in my honest opinion this is not a likely feature. The button in the toolbar is easily accesible and if this is not fast enough you can always use Shift+F12. I can't see the advantages (actually just one, the location of creation) of the right-click option being worth the computational effort.

Again: just my opinion.
