Feature suggestion: option for the "Concatenate" node to indicate row source input

Dear Knimers,

the “Loop End” node “sticks” tables from subsequent iterations to the bottom of the previous ones. To check later which rows come from which loop iteration, the “Loop End” node has a convenient option to add an iteration number column to the final table.

It would be nice if the “Concatenate” also has this option, where the number indicates which input the rows came from. This is even more relevant in the latest Knime versions where “Concatenate” can have more than 2 inputs.

Hi @Aswin -

Thanks for the suggestion! This is one of those that seems obvious in retrospect, and I’m surprised no one has suggested it before - or at least I don’t think anyone has!

Nice one.
