Filter multiple sub-sets from a master flat file

Hi all,
I would want to seek guidance if the following task if doable using KNIME

  1. I have a Flat file that consist of population data of different cities across different countries.

  2. I have another excel file consists of list of recipients - including their email address, which cities and countries they require the population data

  3. TASK: Each recipient only handle some cities and some countries. Hence, i need to make Filter in the Flat file for each recipient according to their scope (Filter country, filter city), save as new file before i send to him/her.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @JinnyLe

I’m moving this topic to the main Analytics Platform forum for better visibility.

Also, this seems like a fairly straightfoward joining operation, perhaps with some looping involved if you want to output separate files for each individual. The specifics will depend on the format of your data. If you have some small example files you can post, I’m sure someone will be able to help.

There could be several ways to do this, I attached one attempt.
