Filtering out columns with unequal first row value

Dear KNIME community,

I am currently working with a table that contains many columns, of which only few are of interest to me. The criteria they must satisfy is that the first row value of the column (n+1) must be equal to the column (n) and if that is not the case, this column should be filtered out. There are often more than just two columns that satisfy such criteria. I just recently started using KNIME so I therefore still have little experience.

I would be thankful for any help or suggestions on what I could do.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Not sure I fully understand how the selection is supposed to work, but would it be possible to first Transpose your table, then work out a Row Filter that acts on the 1st column to eliminate the unwanted rows, finally Transpose back the result?

Working with rows in general provides much more flexibility and options than working with columns.

Cheers,
Marco.
