From KNIME Labs to official node repository

Hi Knimers,

I am using KNIME version 4.1 and I am replacing some nodes in my workflow because I created it using the version 3.7.1. For instance, I am replacing Quickform nodes by configuration or widget ones.

But I would like to know if I have to do it also for the nodes which were part of the KNIME Labs extension and are now part of the official nodes repository like the “Table editor”.
Should I replace it as well or not ?

Best Regards,
Joel

Hi,
As long as the nodes are not marked as deprecated, you don’t have to replace them. If the name ends in “(deprecated)”, use the new version.
Kind regards
Alexander

Hi @AlexanderFillbrunn,

Thanks for your reply.

I looked at the setting.xml of the “Table Editor” node and I noticed that the “node-bundle-name” and “node-bundle-symbolic-name” values have been updated automatically by KNIME Analytics platform.

Best Regards,
Joel
