Generic Web Service Client errors in Knime 4.6.0 compared to 4.5.2

Since updating to KNIME 4.6 my api call with the Generic Web Service Client fails.
I get an error:

Execute failed: Cannot invoke “String.length()” because the return value of “org.knime.core.data.xml.XMLCellContent.getStringValue()” is null

I’ve reinstalled 4.5.2 and it works fine.
I use ‘Retrieve SOAP Body as XML String’ and use all defaults on the other tabs.

Anyone else experiencing troubles since updating?

I tried out a simple example using the node and it’s working fine for me. Can you upload a workflow reproducing the problem for us to investigate further?
