Hi, at the moment, interacting with Google Drive files seems to require workarounds. I would like an update on AP-11391 which is referenced in multiple posts going back several years.
Hi @nizamibilal1064, yes I am using a variety of those nodes - but they leave something to be desired. My current workaround involves a file on My Drive shared with the Knime system user - writing to it via Google Sheets Appender…so I have to ‘prime’ the system by creating a blank googlesheet - and I can’t create it on a Shared Drive either.
I’m trying to understand how close AP-11391 is to being delivered.

Hi @ScottF - thanks for the welcome and information. I’m new to Knime - how do these tickets work? Enough votes and they get done or is this very much a company decision, regardless of how popular a particular ticket is to the end users?
Generally we do take into account the number of votes topics receive in the Feedback & Ideas category (incidentally, I can move this topic over there if you like).
But yes, we have to balance end-user requests with development needs. The product owners are quite sensitive to this, as you might imagine
