Google URL Extractor

Search results from Google URL Extractor don’t match a direct search on Google. If I search “7915 ROCOSO LN CARLSBAD CA 92009” on the URL Extractor I get:

7918 Rocoso Ln, Carlsbad, CA 92009 | Zillow

Why are the results different?

Hi, how are you obtaining these results? Are you using the component?

Hi @Swimjunkie , I’m wondering the same as @Iris .

Are you referring to this component?

It looks like it’s using the Google API to achieve this and requires a Google API Key. I’m not sure what it does or how the results look like.

I thought it was interesting to try to retrieve the search results directly from the Google search page. I built a component for fun for this which should give you the same results as you get when searching directly on Google. Please take a look:

I return the result in 2 columns: Site Description and Site URL.

Yes, I’m using the component.

I just tried the Google Search - bruno29a and the results were the same for a direct search on Google. Thanks!
