Group Loop Feature Proposal

Currently I use Constant Value Column to add grouping fields in the loop. Group Start Loop
or the Loop End nodes may have an option to add grouping columns to the result on setup.

I think this would be a nice feature to have. For simple loops it is not necessary:

…because in this case the grouping column is still available in at the Loop End. However, this is not always the case:

In such a loop the grouping column typically disappears and needs to be reintroduced explicitly. It would be a bit more elegant if this could be handled by the Loop End node, perhaps a dedicated Group Loop End or with a new option to transfer flow variables to a column in the regular Loop End.

thank you for your feature proposal. I agree that it would be nice if the Loop end node could automatically add the grouping column. I created a ticket for it (internal reference: AP-16444) and the developers will look into it. However, I’m not sure if that will be introduced any time soon, since the workaround of using a Constant Value Column or Variable to Table Column is very easy.
