Hi @christian.birkhold,

welcome to the party 🥳 🎉 Also, awesome to read that some new exiting things are already in the pipeline. Just for reference as I stumbled across this by accident:

If I am not getting it wrong however, it is more like a scheduler and has littel in common with the Knime Hub, correct?

Best
Mike

Correct, that’s independent of C-Hub / B-Hub. 👍

I expect that an official integrated local / hub scheduler is in the works or on the goal list…

I was hoping to see a fixed decimal / currency number data type to draw more finance / business users. Hopefully that is still on the list as it would polish and simplify things quite a bit for drawing in novice business users. You would be surprised how many times I hear that used as evidence that Alteryx is “built for business users”, and KNIME is “built for data science”…

I have been testing out the new Expressions (Labs) node and really like where it is heading. I have a minor suggestion that I believe would really speed up and simplify the use of the node. Would it be possible to maintain / show the active curser position in the expression editor for keyboard use after adding a column / variable reference or expression from the catalog? It would make expression writing much faster, easier and reduce errors if that Expression Editor window remained active after inserting.

It would also be nice if the curser jumped to the first customizable part of an inserted expression for immediate entry. Such as:

capitalize(|)
if( |, , )

(The “|” symbol represents the jumped to curser position for immediate entry)
