I am an absolutely beginner of KNIME and I'm trying to familiarize myself with KNIME, we have bulit a website to intergrate some data, and allow people visit files on their own computer thought browser. My vision is to creat a http connection between KNIME and web server and download files via download node, however, it failed, the http connection can not work, how can I use the HTTP connector and Download node to download files via http from a specific URL?

I guess that you are looking for a REST interface that allows you to create a communication between you analytics with KNIME and another application. Can you confirm that?
This is something available with the KNIME Server (https://www.knime.com/knime-server) which is a KNIME commercial extension.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I want to creat a communication between KNIME analytics platform and other application, I thought it was ok just throught servel nodes, maybe I thought too simple. In addition, I am a student and researching it only for learning purposes, so， commercial extensions may be not suitable to me, thank you again.
