How to hide deprecated nodes in the node-repository?

Hi,

is there a way to tag nodefactories as deprecated, in a way that workflows containing these nodes are still loadable, but users can no longer create new nodes of the deprecated type because the nodes are hidden in the node-repository?

I’ve tried the “deprecated”-attribute of of the knimeNode tag in the doc-xml but this just adds a red “deprecated” to the node’s documentation.

Hi Holger, You need to remove those nodes from the plugin.xml as well, in order to hide them from the Node Repository. These nodes, e.g. contained in old workflows, are then still loadable. Regards, Thomas
