How to write fingerprints of molecules to a file?

Dear all,

I am new to Knime and I have used the Fingerprints module in the CDK package to convert molecules into fingerprints. I have some problems, however, to write out the fingerprints to a file. When I use the CSV Writer module for example, it complains that the fingerprint is not an accepted type. How do I convert the bitvector of the fingerprint into a string or another type that is acceptable for the CSV Writer?

You can use the Rename node and change the type of the fingerprint column from BitVectorValue to StringValue. Then the CSV writer is able to write the fingerprint column.
