Getting Started with KNIME - My First Impressions and Questions

Hello, I am a new KNIME user. I am excited to start exploring this powerful platform.

As a bigginer, my goal was to show the correlations with neighborhoods and its price.

I tried to follow this real estate analysis workflows below

But, it is difficult to me because it is my first work, so I uploaded an excel file of the Airbnb dataset. And referred the below workflows

But, the row filter doesn’t work and also I was able to make only one bar chart that I attached.

So far, I’ve learned how to import data, how to use basic nodes like chart view, column filters. And also how to connect nodes to create a workflow, the concept of data pipelines, also I knew exporting the file. I’m particularly interested in making connections to get some meaningful insights.

However, I had trouble understanding the each nodes’ functions. Some nodes didn’t work and just showed me the red light. I need to figure out why some nodes work or not.

I think after learning more about KNIME, I can make it.

There are a variety of self-paced courses available.

If you’re interested in specific areas, the Knime Hub has extensive example workflows. I would recommend that you start with simple problems to get comfortable with the basics before working with advanced features.
