Hi @mythxAHIR ,

To confirm understanding, you currently have a single excel file and that file contains multiple sheets.

You want to create a new excel file that contains a single sheet which is simply a list of the sheet names from your original file, in a single column.

Is that correct?

Thanks for the update, but I’m still slightly puzzled, so maybe we can work with an example. Are you saying that the new excel file contains everything from the original excel, but additionally has a column on each sheet containing the sheet name?

If for example you had a spreadsheet as follows, with three sheets “Sheet1”, “Sheet2”, “Sheet3”,

![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/9/c/9cefec8e254a33ace84e2d42b2a670ee4a69f257.png) ![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/9/2/923a585a54951fc49d81285e8205f4d761d07895.png) ![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/0/6/06c97fe85441b36c4478b8fe380fb909bbceeaf3.png)

You’d want to produce something like this? …
 ![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/c/d/cd3bfcea2166b6e8f73719b142b364a113a175fe.png) ![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/6/d/6db3ab8e5534e8f2d47a13ccc1b2b716ccae10fb.png) ![image](https://forum-cdn.knime.com/uploads/default/original/3X/3/e/3ed0c087c578cb8e592dc62489651b57fab0534d.png)

Is that right? How complex is your original excel? Is it purely tabular data which could be read in and rewritten in entirety, or is it more of a “document”, where there is _any_ information in the sheets that is not in a purely tabular form. I think that is likely to make a big difference to the ease with which what you want can be achieved.

@mythxAHIR you might want to take a look at this example and see if you can adapt that. At the core the sheet name will be inserted as a column. You should have [all the elements](https://kni.me/w/zDsvqAhP4BgUr37R) that you would need to combine the elements accoring to your needs:
