Image reader from recursive "list files"

Dear KNIMErs,

I'd like to have the image reader use the outputs from a recursive "list files" statement - i.e., there is a series of PNG images in subfolders which get all listed in "Location" and "URL" formal by the "list files" node (set to recursive search of  "*.png" in all subfolders).

PNGs added via the dialogue load fine, but any URL-referenced parsing will fail with "not found" errors, no matter if I use the "Location" or "URL" format, or either one of them converted to a "URI" format. Any ideas what could be causing this?

P.S.: KNIME 2.11.3 with "Trusted Community Contribution" release 1.3.0.20150329 - due to firewall issues it's not too easy to upgrade, unfortunately...

Hi,

did you set-up the node to work with the incoming reference column (advanced settings)? Does it work with the `List Files` node -> Location?
