Hi @hhkim,

The tags in the component info are mainly used to improve the searchability and discoverability of components on the KNIME Community Hub or Business Hub.

For example, if you open a tag-based search like this:
https://hub.knime.com/search?type=component&tag=AI&sort=maxKudos
you will see all components on the Hub that are tagged with AI.

Adding meaningful tags makes it easier for:

  • Your team to quickly find and organize shared components
  • The wider community to discover your work when browsing by topic, domain, or functionality
