I wonder whether it is possible to export a given workflow in KNIME as an autonomous Java code, which can be deployed on its own ? Talend OS, which also runs under Eclipse, allows for such an extraction and is also open-source. This makes deployment much easier than via the KNIME batch mode solution.
Very interesting idea. I would also be interested in something like this. Mostly to preserve settings of all nodes and to make anyone run the workflow I am building. I would only need a prompt as to enter the location of the files that need to be analysed, and perhaps a prompt to give a name to the output file.
