Is there any way to control the third party EXE included in Knime external Node?

Hi,

I want to control the executable attached in the external tool node of Knime. Is there any way to get the status of executable while running.

Hi,

KNIME has no control over the external process. 

When you use the "External Tool" node (not the "Labs" one) it has two views showing the standard output and the error output of the external process. If the external exe is outputing some status info through these channels it could give you some hints.
