Is there any way to make a virtual copy or hyperlink to a node?

Hello,

I'm new at KNIME. 

 

I would like to know if there is any way to get a virtual copy or hyperlink to a node?

I mean, instead of having to connect two nodes crossing a line across all the canvas, I would like to know if there is any way to make -maybe- a virtual copy of a node, so I place the virtual copy closer to where I need the output.

To my knowledge KNIME doesn't have anything like that. On the other hand I wonder if it is really needed. It would make workflows much more difficult to read because of the "jumps" around.

Did you consider using Meta Nodes to make your workflow more compact? In this way is much less likely that you have to connect nodes that are so far apart. Using Meta Nodes also makes your workflow more readable by grouping nodes that are functionally related.

Yes! I do use "Meta Nodes" also "Wraps" to simplify my workflows... but I was missing another solution.

OK, I can live without "virtual copies".
