Issue seen with KNIME 5.1 ModernUI

I am working on a workflow on KNIME 5.1 Mac using the ModernUI and I have run into an issue.

  • when adding text to a workflow annotation the formatting options do not appear. The formatting keyboard shortcuts work, but the formatting options only appear on some of my annotations, not all of them. I am not sure why that is the case, or what is unique about some of these annotations.

Hi @Scott_Snyder,
Currently the toolbar only appears if there is space for it. There is not yet a re-positioning logic if there is not enough space. This pattern is also used for e.g. adding ports at metanodes.
