Java runtime updates will require subscription from 2019 for business customers

I just came across this notice by Oracle:

and was wondering if this is going to impact KNIME at all, given that it is based on Java and the desktop product is free.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

EDIT: Correction. I think we misunderstood the meaning. This is for Java 8 only. Which will end ā€œend-of-lifeā€. You can just use Java 9 or 10 instead. Basically Oracle tells you you have to pay if you want support for an ā€œoutdatedā€ version.
