Hi,
when building a workflow by dragging & dropping a flow varaible connection and searchign for Math, the regular one instead of the one using variable ports is suggested first.
I’d like to suggest to not only factor in the name but also the connection type if applicable like in the above scenario to filter or sort the suggest result.

PS: Adding this feature would drastically improve the suggest usability i.e. when someone not knowing that these length nodes do not return the length of the string would not get them suggested in the first place:
I start to beleive the suggest is bugged. Searching for “date&time range“, the node is not coming up which I only realized this morning after @ActionAndi pointed me towards it.
The poor suggest made me utterly blind and create an unnecessary complex workflow.
This node suggestor uses the KNIME-curated “Starter Nodes” collection only, even though the option is disabled in the preferences.
As a proof enable this setting
and search for “date&time range creator”.
