Knime 4.2 Scroll Bar bug

I just updated to 4.2 and am now noticing an issue where the scroll bar only seems to see the first few thousand rows. (For example I have a table of 12947 rows but when I move the scroll bar to the bottom I am only at row ~2000.)

Hello @Notabrick,

specific node or any with data output port? Which OS are you running?

Ivan

I am seeing a similar bug since upgrading to 4.2. The scrollbar is fine when you first open a table, but if you sort by one of the columns, the scrolling breaks. Basically the scrollbar extends only to the end of the current view, and expands only as you scroll down manually. This is entirely unworkable for large tables. The only solution is to sort the table with the Sorter node first.

I am running Knime 4.2 in Windows 10.

Hi @AngusVeitch,

I see now. This is different behavior to previous versions?

Ivan

That’s right, @ipazin. It only started happening with this update.

Hello @Notabrick, @AngusVeitch!

You are right. There is already a ticket (internal: AP-14849) to handle it. Will let you know here once it is fixed.

Tnx for engagement!

Ivan
