KNIME 4.7 Excel Reader Node long loading/opening time

Hello,

since today all of sudden the Excel Reader Node takes very long (~3min) to open the config window, when i make a double-click or access it via right click - configure.

I don’t understand why - yesterday everything was normal. Nothing changed, i already tried several restarts, reinstalls, new workflow etc., still the same…

The very odd thing is, that all other nodes work perfectly fine, it is only the Excel Reader Node which has this problem.

Someone an idea what to do?

@Stbin did anything change with the Excel Files. Are they larger. You could try and use the bundled Python version (https://www.knime.com/blog/how-to-setup-the-python-extension) with OpenPyxl to try and import a file:
